APPGECET – 2016 NOTIFICATION

Eligible candidates who wish to apply for AP PGECET – 2016 may submit their applications through online mode only.

Online submission of application will commence from 06.03.2016.

The related information regarding eligibility, syllabi, instructions and procedure for online application are available on the website: www.appgecet.org or www.jntuk.edu.in.

Registration fee: .600/- (.300/- for SC / ST candidates) for one test. In case a student wants to appear for more than one test, separate registration fee has to be paid for each test.

Examination dates: 25-05-2016 to 27-05-2016, detailed time table is available on the website.
The Registration fee may be paid at any AP online center or through payment gateway (credit/debit card & net banking).

Note:
1. The vacant seats after admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be filled with the candidates on the rank/percentile score secured in the AP PGECET 2016 entrance test.

2. Separate notification will be issued for admission for GATE/GPAT qualified candidates

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level examination that tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science.

The GATE score is used for admissions to post-graduate programs (e.g, M.E., M.Tech., direct Ph.D.) in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies.

GATE 2016 Score Card Name Wise & branch Wise : The GATE 2016 score is also used by many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for employment screening purposes.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) jointly administer the conduct of GATE. GATE 2016 Score Card is Valid for 3 years from the Announcement of Result Date.

Cutoff marks For Gate 2016 : # Normalized marks for multi session papers (CE, CS, EC, EE, ME) ## A candidate is considered qualified if the marks secured are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks mentioned for the category for which a valid Category Certificate, if applicable, is produced along with this scorecard.
